The Proposal

Dave and I traveled to England and Ireland last June. We took the Eurostar over to Paris while staying in London and Dave proposed at the Eiffel Tower! My ring is a vintage 1920s platinum diamond and sapphire! I am in love! 


The Engagement Shoot

I rescued my first vintage wedding dress 6 years ago while living in Miami, before I even met Dave. My cousin who I was living with at the time thought I was crazy! I say rescue, because many of the dresses I have purchased were in the Halloween racks stating they would be great to splatter blood on! I just couldn't let this happen! I started collecting vintage wedding dresses from all different eras and then I got this idea! Instead of a traditional engagement shoot, why not dress in different eras and pretend we got married in that era. Lucky for me, my other job is a wedding planner with access to wedding venues, Dave is a good sport and his brother is an amazing wedding photographer.! So one sunny warm February day (yes it was 70 degrees) we headed over to the Historic Anthony Wayne House in Paoli and made my dream come true!
